ROCC members are active in their communities, local and county governments, and a host of organizations that monitor and impact property rights in Central Colorado. Most recently our membership has been involved in:
2021 Colorado Association of REALTORS® Economic Summit & Virtual Day at the Capitol - Due to the pandemic, this event was held on-line this year. Leadership participated in various sessions related to legislation, the state economy, policies, housing discrimination, and housing trends. This information was brought back to the membership to keep members apprised of rapidly changing market and economic trends.
Hyper-Local Advocacy and How You Can Help - Board members and other ROCC members try to attend and monitor local city council, county commissioner and planning and zoning meetings and bring any issues of concern to the Board and the membership. But there are many areas to monitor, and we need your help! If you hear of or see an issue on the agenda in any local governance meetings or hear of any issues that might concern our profession and the interests of our clients, please send us a note to let us know, and we will check it out.
