Our Association
HISTORY
ROCC has a diverse history originating in 1962 when the San Luis Valley Board of REALTORS®, Inc. in Monte Vista, Colorado, earned its charter from the National Association of REALTORS® founded in 1908. Later in 1980, the Chaffee County Board of REALTORS® was chartered in Salida, Colorado (the name was changed to the REALTORS® of Central Colorado, Inc. in 2013). In 2015 the two professional organizations merged forming the largest geographical association of REALTORS® in the state of Colorado under the REALTORS® of Central Colorado, Inc. name.
Today our organization consists of 285 REALTOR® members that provide outstanding service to real estate buyers, sellers, and investors, while also actively volunteering in the communities we live and work in. Our trusted Industry Partners provide critical services related to real estate. Together we serve an 11 county area in south central Colorado.
ROCC provides educational opportunities for members, as well as critical networking opportunities. We strive to be the leading advocates for home ownership and property rights in the region. We invite you to explore our website and learn more.
